Inca una tare de la Federatia Internationala de Bowling (IBF)

CEO-ul IBF, Andrew Oram, fostul jucator de cricket, a anuntat noul "Chairman of the IBF Global Coach Education Pathway", adica Directorul de dezvoltare al sistemului mondial de invatamant pentru antrenori.

Programul mondial de coaching era de cativa ani in  lucru la World Bowling si la el participau cativa mari antrenori, printre care si Juha Maja.
Acum a fost numit sef Dr Koh Koon Teck, din Singapore, care este expert in baschet si care n-a avut nicio tangenta cu bowlingul.

Baschetul singaporez este de inalt nivel, cotat cam pe locul 110 in lume.
Romania, care e pilaf la baschet, e pe locul 54.

Nu prea inteleg ce se intampla cu Federatia internationala, merge intr-o directie inexplicabila pentru mine.

E clar ca IBF isi muta centrul de greutate catre zona asiatica, fiind a doua nominalizare semnificativa,  dupa cea a sauditei Dr Razan Baker, ca reprezentanta a femeilor in Comitetul Sportiv - Chairperson of the International Bowling Federation’s (IBF) Women in Sport Committee.

Aici putem identifica influenta Presedintelui IBF, Seicul Talal Mohammad Al-Sabah, care e si Presedintele Federatiei Kuweitiene de Bowling. 

Bine, IBF e atat de varza, incat nici linkul federatiei sefului nu merge pe site, a fost un pic hackuit.

Majoritatea continutului siteului World Bowling a disparut in neant, nefiind preluat de bowling.sport, nu mai exista istorie, program competitional, regulamente samd, si asta la 2 luni dupa mareata redenumire a federatiei.

Dear All,

I wish to announce that Dr Koh Koon Teck of Singapore has been appointed as Chairman of the IBF Global Coach Education Pathway. Dr Koh is an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Education Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The Nanyang Technological University, Singapore is a world-class university and ranked 13th in the QS Global World University Rankings. Dr Koh is vastly experienced in sport coaching and pedagogy. 

He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, technical articles in this area. Dr Koh has more than two decades of experiences in the design and delivery of coach education programme both in theory and technical across different sports. He has also played an integral part in the creation of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Coaching Courses.

Dr Koh is a Technical Commission for the FIBA, an Executive Board Member of Asia Association of Coaching Science, an Executive Board Member of FIBA Asia Coaches Committee, an Executive Board Member of World Association of Basketball Coaches, President of ASEAN Council of Physical Education and Sport and the Editorial Board Member for the International Sport Coaching Journal.

One of the roles as the Global Coach Education Pathway Chairman is to lead a team in creating a world class coaching certification course that is the benchmark for other sports federations to follow. 

The coaching certification will revolve around international best practices and standards that will benefit all of our Member Federations, raising the standard of coaching from the grassroot to the elite, while safeguarding the future of sport bowling and is essential to creating an identity that bowling is a sport in the world of international sports.
